About Mark Williams

 

I am an experienced senior clinician specialising in adult audiological rehabilitation and tinnitus therapy provision. I have practised as a tinnitus specialist for over 10 years and provide consultancy services to The Tinnitus Clinic Ltd. at the service’s Harley Street clinic in London.

 

I have previously led a team of audiologists for the NHS and have been a clinical tutor / examiner for MSc and BSc Audiology students at University College London (UCL). I have been responsible for undertaking observational studies evaluating the efficacy of new tinnitus treatments and also contributed to the validation of new tinnitus pitch measurement techniques. I regularly deliver peer reviewed research talks at national and international tinnitus / audiology conferences.

 

I am a visiting lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University and the module lead for Diagnostic Audiology at Middlesex University.  I am also a visiting assessor for the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am responsible for evaluating the content of audiology undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs to ensure that they meet national standards.
